Well this week at my job, where I also volunteer, the boss lady has nominated me for an award for my volunteer work at the Lexington hotel. I’m very happy that I’m going to get this award because my mom got this award also and she was oh so proud of it. I know that somewhere up in the sky or somewhere she is proud of me. I did all of this for her. To make her proud and happy and to get something like that brings me to tears because I really miss her. It may not be a big deal but it means a lot to me.
